Jeremy Grant-Levine is installing his long awaited, 1000 Glass Cranes

It has not been an easy road, but the journey is finally coming to an end. I missed my mark many times, but I never gave up on the end goal of creating an immersive glass experience. I’ve learned many things about myself, my strengths and my short comings. I’ve learned that large installation projects cost far more than I ever anticipated and take far more time and energy to complete. I know that I’ve been largely silent about the status of the project over the past year, but I hope everyone can come together to see what I’ve accomplished over the past two years. I’m pleased to finally be able to invite my supporters, my friends and family and the glass community at large to be apart of the unveiling of @1000glasscranes. I will be posting more details soon and I will start updating everyone with footage of the installation going up. Thank you all for your support, patience and love.

I’m really pleased with how the installation is coming together. @dancollinsmedia has been hanging out at the studio the last few weeks as it’s been materializing and put together this short video. I hope to see many of you on March 30th! Thanks for all the patience and continuing support.

Hi everyone. Sorry it’s been so long since I checked in, but the project is still underway. I wanted to give a quick update on what’s going on with the final installation. I have partnered with a different gallery than I originally intended on and I’m very excited to be working with them. Arch Enemy Arts is on of the best contemporary art galleries in Philadelphia and they bring a lot of experience to the table. We will be working with an organization called Arts and Crafts Holdings who have generously provided a beautiful exhibition space just outside of Chinatown. The process of organizing the installation is taking much longer than I anticipated, but I only have one shot to get it all right. I’m hoping to have the show sometime this summer. Thank you all for your continued patience and support. If for some reason you would like me to send you your crane before the installation I can arrange it. I understand it’s been awhile and some of you may be anxious to have your crane hanging in your home. But if you can hold out a bit longer it would be great to have your bird as part of the final presentation. Thank you again. I will update you all as soon as I lock down a more concrete date.
